Charts and Other Tools
The purpose of this page is to have a one stop shop for various tools that I like to use or that are just plain cool.
A really cool site that offers the ability to zoom in on Nautical Charts with a satellite image overlayed.
Always important to know the marine weather before a trip. This is linked to the Northern Inland Waters. This is where I do my paddling and includes the San Juans. This site also gives water temperatures, which generally stays near 50 degrees all year long.
Currents, Tides, and other goodies from WAKE
I use this site for all my planning needs. This site has it all, but I especially like the ability to look up currents for specific areas without having to do any corrections from a different reference station.
Not a real useful tool, but this site gives a glimpse into my world. The camera overlooks Bellingham Bay and is updated every 5 seconds.
